Royal Braintree Letter
We receive many letters of thanks from families whose loved ones have been in our care, and we appreciate
each and every one of them. We are often privileged to be a witness to a poignant moment for our residents,
and as you will read in the beautiful letter below, sometimes we become participants...

Todd Funk
Executive Director
Royal Nursing & Rehabilitation Center
95 Commercial Street
Braintree, MA 02184
Dear Todd,
On behalf of my siblings I would like to say thank you to all of the staff who tended to our Dad while he was in Royal’s care. Please extend our gratefulness to Rosalaine Alexis and Rosalind Joseph. The two of them were so compassionate to Dad. I would be pleased if you did that for me. Of course, the nurses and other CNAs were just as great.
My Dad did not die alone. You have a wonderful CNA by the name of Sylvie Auguste who took care of him that morning. He had told her before how he sang in the choir. She sang “Amazing Grace” to him, he closed his eyes, and she said she knew he was going to Jesus. What a wonderful thing she did.
Todd, you have some great girls over there. Again, thank you for everything that was done by all for Dad.
Sincerely,
Janet Nelson

at Royal Braintree Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
