The Royal Health Group is committed to providing innovative nutritional therapy and exceptional dining services. We recognize that nutrition plays an important supportive role along the healing and wellness continuum. Our professional team of registered dietitians uses the latest research to customize nutrition goals for each individual. Residents are educated to make informed food choices for optimal nutrition in the prevention and management of chronic health conditions.
The nutritional needs of our residents are met with a menu that has been designed with a focus on whole, unprocessed foods. Our association with the world-renowned Joslin Diabetes Center has ensured a proper nutritional diet for our residents with diabetes. The most current nutrition standards of care are incorporated in our menu planning.
All Royal facilities have introduced “culture change” to our dining programs, incorporating a wider variety of options for residents of all types. Homes now offer buffet and restaurant-style service and family-style dining.
We have made a commitment to embrace the cultural differences of our residents, offering specialty menu items in our Russian and Portuguese Programs. And collaborative nutrition initiatives have been forged within our Coordinated Care program to ensure a constant flow of information to our physicians, residents and family members.
