Royal Charitable Foundation Tees Off for Scholarships

Bourne, MA – The Brookside Golf Club of Bourne hosted the 10th annual Royal Health Group Charitable Foundation Golf Classic on September 20th. More than 100 golfers teed off under a shotgun scramble format on the beautiful Brookside course overlooking Buzzards Bay.

The tournament raised more than $40,000 this year in support of the Foundation’s mission: to provide scholarships for young members of our community who are interested in a career in nursing or a related healthcare profession.

Over the years, the Foundation has also proudly donated to non-profits and schools throughout the Cape and Islands, and Southeastern Massachusetts. All proceeds from the tournament, as always, will be directly disbursed back into the community.
