Royal Health Group Names Geriatric Neurology Specialist as Medical Director of Alzheimer’s Services
May 5, 2011 - Dr. Anil Nair, Chief of Neurology and Director of the Alzheimer Disease Center at Quincy Medical Center has joined Royal Health Group as Medical Director of Alzheimer’s Services.
With a special interest and expertise in neurocognitive disorders among seniors - and the early and preclinical detection, treatment and prevention of Alzheimer’s disease - Dr. Nair’s appointment further enhances the Royal Health Group’s “Royal Innovation: Alzheimer’s Care” program. Along with program director Maureen Bradley, Dr. Nair will help cement Royal’s position as the undisputed leader in this critical area of skilled health care.

Dr. Nair, who is also a professor of neurology at Boston University, is on the executive Board of the Massachusetts Neurological Association and serves on many national medical committees. His works have been published extensively, and he is on the editorial boards of numerous medical journals.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Nair is a respected researcher, directing the only center in the Commonwealth and one of only 20 in the United States to be FDA-approved for a promising new international study on Alzheimer’s.
