Our History

Founder Jim Mamary dedicated 25 years to the health care industry before his own company, the Royal Health Group. With all of that experience, he was determined to create smaller facilities that were homes - personal, comfortable, clean, and beautiful. Since founding the Royal Health Group, the Mamary family has purchased seven homes, Royal Megansett Nursing & Retirement Home in North Falmouth, Royal Nursing Center in downtown Falmouth, Cape Cod Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Bourne, Taber Street Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in New Bedford, the Royal at Harwich Village Assisted Living, the Royal at Fairhaven, and our newest addition, the Royal at Braintree. All of the facilities are beautiful, renovated homes in wonderful settings, with character and warmth.
